Sky Sports' resident renowned female Liverpool team correspondent Melissa Reddy, exclusively reported on Wednesday that Liverpool has rejected Bayern Munich's approach and officially listed its Colombia international left winger Luis Díaz as "not for sale".

According to Reddy's report, Bayern Munich only wanted to ask and understand the conditions required for Díaz's transfer in the initial approach, but was directly rejected by Liverpool, and the club did not even have the opportunity to submit an offer.

At the same time, the Reds' Sporting Director Richard Hughes also directly told his counterpart Max Eberl that the club Díaz is someone that club consider as "not for sale".

Díaz, 28, was born on January 13, 1997 in Barrancas, Colombia. He plays as a left winger. His younger brother Jesus currently plays for Barranquilla.

Díaz started playing football at the age of 6. Later, he joined the Barranquilla youth academy at the age of 17. In 2015, he was called-up to the Colombia U23s national team before he was even promoted to the first-team.

In July 2017, Díaz moved to Atlético Junior for €70,000.

During his two-year spell with Atlético Junior, Díaz won the Colombian League twice, the Colombian Cup twice, and the Colombian Super Cup once.

In the summer of 2019, Díaz joined Porto for €7 million and began plying his trade in Europe.

During his three-and-a half-year spell with Dragões, Diaz led the club to win the Portuguese Primeira Liga twice, the Taça da Portugal twice and the Portuguese Super Cup once.

On the 2022 winter transfer window deadline day, Díaz joined Liverpool for £45 million.
